PC Translator helps you to read, write and translate letters, e-mails and web pages to/from Czech, English, German, Russian, French, Italian, Spanish and other languages.

PC Translator can be installed optionally with Czech, English or German menu and help files.

Every distributed CD of PC Translator contains:

Word stock (vocabulary) of the PC Translator software contains bi-directional database of words, phrases, and linguistic relations. This application is primarily designed to serve as a well-arranged and fast dictionary with a highly comfortable operation and excellent lookup capabilities, including audio versions of the English, German, Russian, French, Spanish, and Italian vocabulary. The audio version is stored on the respective CD. Pronunciation has been recorded by native speakers.

The text translator translates texts sentence by sentence. When you work with the application, emphasis is laid not only on an automatic machine translation of a text. The application has got these functions; however, the automatic translation with no human translator involved can only be regarded as informative. Results of the machine translation should be "fine tuned". The application has got an extraordinary large dictionary which will effectively replace tedious searching of words in books and manuscripts. The dictionary can be modified and enhanced without limitation.

Web Translator - The Translator of Internet Pages

The translator of Internet pages offers a quick translation of "foreign" web pages. It serves for fast, informative detection of contents of foreign Internet pages. Web Translator will be installed to your web browser automatically at the end of the entire installation, which you have launched from the PC Translator distribution CD. According to which application you want to install the plug-in icons, choose programmes from the Add/Remove PC Translator Icons panel.

Web Translator plug-in icons can be installed in the following Internet browsers: Internet Explorer 5.0, 6.0 and 7.0, Mozilla Firefox and SeaMonkey Suite.

Plug-In Icons for MS Word, MS Outlook, Oultook Express and Thunderbird

The translation icons are installed into Microsoft Word, Outlook Express and Microsoft Outlook automatically, at the end of the entire installation of PC Translator. According to which application you want to install the plug-in icons, select the applications from the Installation of translation tools panel.

Installation of PC Translator

Installation and Hardware requirements: PC Translator is intended for all computers that run Windows 98/NT/ME/2000/XP/Vista with no problems. A free disk space of at least 80 MB is required before the installation (in the case of 800,000 word vocabulary), and 25 MB (300,000 words). The computer must have a CD-ROM drive. We recommend also a sound card.

The CZECH installation is initialised from the CD using the SETUP.EXE file. If your PC has the AutoRun feature activated, the Czech installation of the application will start automatically after inserting the CD into your CD-ROM drive; you do not have to launch the SETUP.EXE file manually.
